it’s funny how in the season of celebration, we as human beings focus on all the reasons not to celebrate. and there are legitimate reasons for sadness and longing. but honestly, that’s the point. this is why we hope. because God has fulfilled His promises to us by sending us Jesus and we look forward to the things He will fulfill in the future. that we need Him to fulfill in the future.
so may christmas be a time of hope. of remembering and sharing our reason to hope and clinging to the fact that though we endure despair, heartache, and longing, there is hope for the things to come. tomorrow, next year, and however far in the future God fulfills our other hopes.
romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Thanks for this, Tahni. I needed it 🙂
i love it all. the message of hope. the decorations. all the trees. the squirrel. the red door– i didn’t know you had a red door! etc.
and i love you! i’ll miss you this christmas, fuzzy love.
Tahni,
Is anyone making Christmas cards out of these photographs? I would love to buy them. I want to send some out this year, but I haven’t found any that I like. Let me know – or maybe for next year!
Your site is fantastic! Congrats on this new and exciting endeavor!
Jamie 🙂
I love your decorations 🙂 I may not have commented in a while, but I’m really enjoying seeing glimpses into your life in Charlottesville and seeing your photography projects! I miss you.
My friend Kelsey is a photographer, and I thought that yall’s work could inspire one another. So I gave her a link to your site, and here’s a link to hers –
