if nothing else, i have learned since graduation that i am all about the final product. when a task is placed before me, all i want is for it to be finished. and until that task is finished, stress consumes me and my mind is overtaken by a dark cloud looming over the weightless and blissful freedom of life.
i have a strong aversion to the process. (insert gasp here) it almost feels heretical to admit that, but its true. i want everything to be done, complete with a sparkling finish.
no wonder i spend a majority of my time stressed out. life, work, and play would feel much more at ease without this pressure to have everything done. i’d like to learn to enjoy the process rather than always wishing for the final product– be it my apartment fully packed, a painting, reading a book, or even finding a job.
yikes, the more i think about this issue, the more ashamed i am.
speaking of the process, for graduation i got a nikon d90 camera of which i know nothing about. the learning process is another one i wish i already had completed. the photos from this post are from my first go around with the new camera. and do i have some learning to do…
You better never scrapbook, beucase it never ends. LOL.
Or that could teach you patience about the process. I know a lot of people are moving to digital scrapbooking, but I like the hands on process.
It is so fun to learn the functions of a new camera. Sounds like you got a nice present. I like the pictures of the flowers!
Good luck learning your new toy!!!
