I am rather anxious myself these days. I don’t really have anything to offer you concerning this that I do not think you already know. I shall keep you in my prayers though, most definitely. You’re a blessing Tahni. God takes care of the flowers… He’ll definitely take care of you.
I second Katie with a reminder that He cares for the birds and other fuzzy animals too. You will land just where God wants you and He has said, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;” –Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)
I Love You,
Dad
PS. yes this was written at 4am as I have not be able to sleep. I have struggled lately with feelings of worthlessness because of my back and my uncertain future. I sometimes long to be 22 again because I would live my life differently and be full of so much more hope for the future. Don’t get me wrong, I am not feeling sorry for myself, just a bit of melancholy every now and then. If I did my life over I would still want you and your sisters to be a part of my legacy because you guys rock!ReplyCancel

And of course Philippians 4:6 is followed by 4:7, “…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” So, do not worry nor be anxious as the Big Guy has your back!
Worry not. It took me 210 applications to find my first job. It took me 230 applications to find my next job. The job after that, someone in my network found me. The job after that, someone found me. The job after that, during the Internet bubble burst, it took me only 70 applications. The job I have now? Yup, someone found me.
Just keep in mind that it’s not just about your abilities but it’s the mood of the interviewers and screeners and sometimes quirky things they look for. And how much coffee they’ve had….
*hugs*
