As I age, I’ve come to find pregnancy and motherhood to be so beautiful. I’m still not sure if it’s for me, but what they say is true…it’s beautiful to witness the circle of life. Many of my closest friends have now experienced pregnancy and early motherhood and I have enjoyed taking this journey with them.

Perhaps my favorite thing about maternity photoshoots is the way the husband cares for and adores his wife. I think I get emotional every time.

We met at sunrise in Central Park for this bohemian maternity shoot. It was nice to have the park and the sun all to ourselves, something quite rare for New York City, especially in the spring.
