When Erica first contacted me about photographing her and her husband in Texas, I was over the moon! She had lived in Peru for awhile, and their home and her style is still, to-this-day, inspired by Andean culture. I knew the shoot would be amazing, but I didn’t realize just how magical it would turn out. They got married two years ago (on my birthday!) and wanted to do a photo shoot to celebrate their anniversary and have photos that represented their lives together now.
I met Erica and Kris in Amarillo, just before we headed out to the Palo Duro Canyon for the shoot. Though I was born and raised in Texas, I didn’t know about the canyon, nor was I prepared for how beautiful it would be. Oh how I would love to shoot more there!
