yesterday i met one of the coolest brides and am scheduled to shoot her wedding in new york city in may. i think she might be my wedding soulmate. and one of the craziest parts of it all is that her fiance shares my alma mater- texas a&m university.

being in new york last month, i fell in love with it all over again, as you well know. but i also unexpectedly fell in love with brooklyn. like many other people out there, i had the impression that brooklyn was the run-down part of new york. i couldn’t have been more wrong. brooklyn is the place i imagine when i think of living in new york and has an incredibly creative vibe about it. here are a few more of my favorite photos, the majority of them taken in brooklyn.
