I’ve known Janel and Malcolm for a few years now, and have a history with them I don’t get to share with too many clients. 🙂 We’ve been connected on social media, traded hundreds of emails, been out of the country together, and now- I got to be the witness to their wedding. I get emotional at many of my weddings. But something about the emotion I experienced during their lovely little city hall wedding in Boston was very real. I felt like I was cheering them on from behind the camera through the ceremony, and being with them that day felt a little bit like being at home. I was so honored to stand in that day and be able to preserve their memories and make the sharing of their love with their families possible.
It was one of those days in my photography career that will be unforgettable. If it wasn’t the snafus of the day, or the way that we literally had to run to make it to city hall on time, or how beautiful Boston is in autumn- it was the palpable feeling of joy while they held hands and said their vows. I sent them a little preview the other day, and I felt the need to share it here. After all our time together- they absolutely have to be stars on the blog. Plus, Janel looked way too good for the world not to see. 😉
