just in time for valentine’s day is a photo shoot that might have been the most fun yet. jenny and rick spent some of their relationship separated by land and ocean as rick served overseas in afghanistan. he has also jumped out of planes. AND their engagement involved a hot air balloon.
i was inspired by the brilliant color of hot air balloons and managed to borrow a parachute from WWII (!!!). the parachute belonged to the grandfather of ryan- the owner of random row books in charlottesville. if you live in the area please go support his lovely bookstore (it’s my fav). they do a lot of community events and it’s just a cool place to hang out, read, and find some sweet old records and books.
now onto the photos. i had so much fun playing with the parachute and tasting some of the wine at barboursville vineyards. jenny & rick are people that make me love my job.
Great Job Tahni!!! Love it!
Gorgeous! You are totally doing my engagement shoot whenever I get married. 🙂
So, do you do a wardrobe consultation, or what? I mean, how do your subjects’ outfits always match your shoot so perfectly?
Love it, as always! 🙂 It’s so cool to see how far you’ve come in a few short years. You’re kindof my hero.
Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as always.
it was actually a coincidence because i didn’t see the parachute until the day before the shoot! i never tell people exactly what to wear but i do typically give them advice or send them inspiration. 🙂
Jenny & Rick you both look gorgeous!!!!
I love this shoot. Stunning and perfect.
And Tahni- I love your work!
In a word – WOW!
These are fantastic. And I am totally biased after being proposed to in a hot air balloon! Bonus points for Rick.
Tahni,
Your photography is AMAZING! I absolutely love what you do. Your creative eye really stands you apart
