yesterday was, hands down, one of my favorite days. ever. in my whole 22.5 years. and, as is characteristic of my life– one of the hardest. (mostly physically). my eyes took in perhaps the most beautiful places i have ever seen. i took photos. 220 to be exact. but looking at them now, they hardly…
Tahni,
I love you.
You are AMAZING.
Remember that.
Forever.
Hey there! I loved all the detail in your story, pretty great. And the photos are incredible, as usual.
How exciting about Joseph joining you. Is he ready to climb rocks and dance to African music 😉
Loving your adventure. Love you too.
Tahnawannarockclimb:
I can hardly wait to see all of the pictures. Pleased also, that you got rock climbing out of your system. Enjoy the journey and continue to get more excited that Joseph is coming!
Love,
Dad
Tahni, this is probably my favorite post so far from your trip in Greece. This morning, I was just reading about Paul's first missionary journey in Acts! I was pretty captivated reading this post, and really felt for you every step of the way. When I read that Joseph is joining you, the Africa music was playing, and I actually gasped outloud with joy! I'm so incredibly thrilled that he's coming! When will he join you? I can't wait to see him again and wish him well on his journeys 🙂
i'm SO glad you're alive and that you were able to experience being held by God's grace in the midst of your journey…really good stuff.
yay joseph!
TAHNI!!
I am loving your blog, and I am so happy that you get to live your dream in Greece these three weeks.
Awesome!!!
Oliver and I miss you!
i just think you should know that my prayers are powerful, because i was praying for your safety!;)
glad to know you made it fuzz, and that church is beautiful!
the drum bit reminded me of our random dance party at revolutions!
have fun with broseph (as griff calls him)! yay!
So glad you are okay! All us Shalom gals are loving your stories and missing you like woah. SO excited that Joseph is headed your way!!! I'm lifting you up!
Tahni,
I wish I was there with you! Reading your stories, I can't help but tear up at the joy that seeps through your writing and photos. You're such an inspiration to me and I love you so much!
i loved this post SO MUCH. i think there is so much truth to the destination being awesome but the molding occurring on the journey & that being the most precious part about it. i think my experience in college was so much more about the journey rather than the destination. it gave me a much better perspective about not achieving all my career goals immediately upon graduating…and maybe not having career goals yet.
joseph coming is brilliant. i'm so pumped about this…for him as well as you. i can't help but think of the redemption that this year has brought.
ps thank you thank you thank you for taking beautiful pictures. no pictures can't fully capture what you're experiencing…but for those of us who are confined to america for the time being, they sure make life better.
tahni joy….like everyone else has said, praise the Lord you are alive! and I love how you can take that experience and truly look at it as what the Lord is trying to teach you. this sounds like an amazing trip for you.
and joseph is coming!! what??!!! i am so so happy for you and can't wait to hear how that part of your trip goes!
