one of my many assignments in my art class, this “painting” is supposed to describe, using primary colors and other techniques, the opposite of how i feel at this moment. though i do not feel brave, i see myself moving in bigger and bolder steps. sorry i have been m.i.a. recently. that is partially as…
I love this landscape piece!

First of all, let me tell you how sad I am with you about Lexi. We all know that our cherished pets live shorter lives than we do, but that does not make their aging and illness better for us; even when they are nearly 15 years old. Lexi has been around for 65% of your entire life. Our prayers are for your peace as much as for Lexi's health.
I find it interesting that you find yourself as a person lacking courage/bravery. You are by far one of the bravest human beings that I know. And bravery and fearlessness are two different things. You are probably less fearless than you are less brave. But fearlessness oft times comes from a lack of wisdom of which you possess a large God given amount. If you were a military leader, many would follow you because you are so brave. And you are wicked smart!
I think you are confusing concerns about the future (fear) with a lack of bravery. One can be fearful while possessing great bravery. The interesting thing is that you ARE brave enough to overcome fear. And being fearful of the things that you cannot control is a top human trait. You need to stand bravely against a "spirit of fear".
I will leave you with the knowledge I have acquired that there are things that you cannot control and, therefore, you should not be fearful nor afraid. God controls all things and you simply need to hold that truth close. Be thankful and joyful for the support system that completely surrounds you and Joseph. At the end of the day, you are deeply and richly loved and you are blessed beyond belief by a God who chose you specifically for a brave and purpose filled life.
Love,
Dad
so sorry about Lexi. Love you
