this post took forever to get ready. and i mean forever. the sheer number of detail shots i captured are overwhelming, i had such a hard time deciding which photos to use. aaron- the groom- is a visual artist and also does some cinematography, and well, his and tamara’s wedding is full of some of the most unique decor i have seen yet. if i could sum up “creative wedding” in one set of pictures- it would be these. one of the coolest parts of this wedding was how i got to be their photographer. green wedding shoes published their engagement video this past winter and i commented on the post saying that i wanted to be their wedding photographer because they looked so creative. lo and behold- tamara found me on twitter and the rest is history.
prepare yourself for some of the most artistic details, the coolest/silliest wedding cake known to man, a truly fantastically offbeat bride, some spectacular california vegetation, and just a beautiful story.
and just in case you missed their hilarious and creative wedding party photos, make sure you check them out!

Thank you so much for posting these totally amazing and delightfully wonderful photos of Tamara and Aaron’s wedding at our historic family home. I am so thrilled to see Rancho Buena Vista displayed in such a gorgeous way, with such a talented hand as yours. Tam and Aaron are super creative and you are such a talented photographer. I direct potential wedding people to your sight all the time so that they can see how beautiful a truly gifted photographer can make a wedding and venue look. I hope you get more business from the people who I direct to your sight. Thank you for making our venue/property/family legacy look so magical!!!!!
