you would be hard-pressed to find a bride more vintage-inspired than brittany. her incredible wedding dress was assembled from the dress her mother wore when she got married. but it gets better- brittany’s grandmother originally made the dress and on brittany’s dress is her vintage brooch. one of my favorite photographs from the shoot, is the very last one of the post, where brittany is holding a photograph of her mother on her wedding day- wearing the original dress. she gave that last photo as a gift to her mother. so so sweet.

and as i mentioned in the bridal portrait preview, brittany actually grew up with her family in asia and incorporated elements of that in her session as well. and to top it all off, she was an english major and used a first edition of the sun also rises by ernest hemingway.
