this stairway leads to the road from what i consider to be the most beautiful mosque in dakar. it stands beside a cliff, open to the sea. i spent an evening thinking and writing there by the sea.

i’m off for the weekend to weddings number three and four of seven that i am attending in two months. (that’s not even all the weddings i was invited to.) sigh.
