one of my favorite mornings in new york was the one i spent in greenwich village. it is filled overflowing with vibrant characters, both on the streets and in the artistic representation on the buildings. here are my favorite photographs from that morning. i already showed you a couple from cafe doma. and here are the rest.
that last one is my new favorite picture from new york. i love the composition and how i captured the birds in flight. completely representative of what the trip meant to me and my growth as a person and as a photographer.

have you ever read Jane Jacobs, particularly her Death and Life of Great American Cities? She was from New York, and while she never had formal training, wrote extensively on city planning and architecture. very insightful and we still use her fundamentals in planning today. i want to go to the places in her book with your vision! very wonderful photos indeed!!
