as you may recall, i took somewhat of a road trip this past weekend. my primary purpose was to spend time with good friends. and that was, of course, the best part of the weekend.
but i also wanted to take a few photos.
here are some highlights of the trip.
************************************************************
climbing with rebecca up the rocky lookover onto the 360 bridge.
trailers of all species you could imagine.
a delicious chicken curry crepe dinner with josh. quite the character, that one. a few more off-color jokes than i was hoping to hear.
book people. the most delicious bookstore (outside of powell’s in portland) i have ever been in.
a trip to my absolute favorite store.
the famous (at least in my coffee shop coworker circle) caffe medici.
foam perfection in a cappucino.
when country road literally, in complete honesty and seriousness, means country road.
i missed the turn for a vintage shop i was looking for and decided i would try and take some country roads (which usually just means a road that isn’t a highway through the texas countryside). not so. until this moment, i don’t think i have ever actually been in the middle of nowhere. and yes, that is a gravel road.
tokens of my creative friend, erin.
how could i not love this?
thanks for visiting. you made my heart very happy! miss you already.
(side note: ohhh, josh. just keepin' austin weird?)
Love the pictures of one of my favorite cities! Mmm, Cafe Medici, the Mecca of Texas Coffee Houses. And I wanted to go to that crepes place last time I was in Austin, but it closed too early. I'll make it there next time 🙂
