alex and michael are both artists living and working in new york city. and they truly are my ideal, the type of people that make my job worthwhile- fun, creative, adventurous, and incredibly stylish. i love love love their southern 50s style, orginially inspired by savannah, georgia- where they met. i’m heart broken not to get to capture their wedding this october, because it’s going to be an amazing southern event. in fact, they are calling it a hootenanny!

for this session, we did a walking tour of brooklyn- mostly greenpoint- and it made for a lot of creativity, and way too many beautiful shots.
