here is a (slightly) edited list of the things that i was thankful for each day of the month of january.
1st. dancing to “jump on it” with wonderful friends at lindsey’s wedding.
2nd. getting to make coffee for my friends.
3rd. hardcore laughter with allie.
4th. getting multiple sub jobs when i needed them.
5th. a&m basketball game with joseph.
6th. being able to walk to the grocery store, the wonderful smell of cinnamon.
7th. seeing chad, laughing with michelle and rachael at comm group.
8th. getting to know my coworkers better.
9th. the cowboys winning. (sorry dad).
10th. a delicious peach.
11th. good day subbing, good tips, lots of laughter.
12th. getting a lovely kitchen table!
13th. a good meal, time with meghan and jules.
14th. a super easy sub job.
15th. joseph bringing me a gyro, a wonderful 4-hour convo, getting an extra shift.
16th. time with liz, delicious enchiladas, time with sam and rebecca (future family).
17th. Maxfield Parrish’s “Daybreak.”
18th. $9 in tips! flowers from joseph.
19th. my mom being so helpful with moving my furniture.
20th. being able to walk barefoot.
21st. enjoying comm group.
22nd. sunshine, leaving the door open, queso, rachael jumonville.
23rd. finally having furniture.
24th. lavender shampoo, getting an extra shift.
25th. my mom and dad, discovering vanilla syrup and chamomile tea.
26th. ice cream.
27th. having a cleansing day.
28th. walking into my apartment and being so glad to feel at home.
29th. really enjoying work.
30th. peppermint shake, painting, extra shift.
31st. being able to talk freely and be encouraged by joseph. dinner with liz, julia, and kelly.
This is a great list – just reading it fills me with gratitude also!
Beautiful… alas I wish I could muster up that kind of raw joy from the seemingly insignificant moments of my life. You truly are gifted at recognition into the smaller gifts of God. Bravo

The whole list is great except for that Cowboys win thing. But, I just checked ESPN.com and the Cowboys still did not win the SuperBowl. Way to geaux Saints!
