i’ve been saving this announcement for the moment when i can absolutely (inshallah) say that it is going to happen.

from september 7th until september 29th, i will be out of the country.

because i will be in greece!!!!!!!!!!

i can hardly contain my excitement or think of something that i have been more excited about in awhile.

three years ago i began to study ancient greek and my love for the country was made complete. since then, i have tattooed the ancient language on my foot, decorated my room in accordance with rich grecian colors, purchased clothing and shoes that look grecian or carry its name (grecian flats).

and now, i have decided to spend my savings on a trip to the land that has beckoned me for as long as i can remember. my head has been whirling with ideas, but no official plans (other than the plane ticket) have yet been made.

please stand by for my ideas and plans to come…
